1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use deskandday.co.uk or buy digital products from Desk & Day. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Contact us at hello@deskandday.co.uk.

2. Our digital products

Our products are downloadable digital content. Depending on the product, files may include PDF workbooks, short guides and editable spreadsheet files. Each product page states what is included and any common software requirements. You are responsible for checking that your device can open the stated file formats.

3. Orders, payment and delivery

Your order is accepted when we send confirmation after successful payment. Digital access is normally provided immediately by email or on the order page. If access does not arrive, check your junk folder and contact us with your order number. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and any applicable tax is displayed at checkout.

4. Cancellation and refunds

Digital-content cancellation and refund rights are explained in our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.

5. Licence and intellectual property

Unless the product page states otherwise, your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the files for your own personal work or internal business use. You may print working copies for yourself. You may not resell, share, upload, distribute, sublicense or make the files available to others. All intellectual-property rights remain with Desk & Day or the relevant rights holder.

6. Responsible use

You must not misuse the website, interfere with its security, submit false information, attempt unauthorised access, or use our content unlawfully. We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or a pricing error, and will refund any payment taken when required.

7. Information and results

Our productivity materials are educational tools, not medical, legal, financial or employment advice. Individual results depend on how the system is used and are not guaranteed.

8. Faults and liability

We will provide digital content that is as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for any purpose made known to us where the law requires. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

9. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Shopify, payment providers and connected services may process information needed to operate the store, complete payments, deliver downloads, measure advertising and respond to your privacy choices.

10. Marketing communications

Making a purchase or contacting us does not, by itself, subscribe you to the Desk & Day newsletter. We send promotional emails where you actively choose to subscribe, or where the law permits us to use the existing-customer soft opt-in for our own similar products and we offered a clear opportunity to opt out when collecting your details. Contact-form marketing consent is optional and separate from submitting an enquiry. Every promotional email includes an unsubscribe option, and you may also ask us to stop at hello@deskandday.co.uk. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary order, download, security or customer-service messages.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms for future orders. The terms in force when you order will apply to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK, you retain any mandatory rights and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.
